We are growing and would love to have you join us. The Georgia Retired Educators Association represents all teachers and other state employees who are receiving benefits from the TRS. Georgia is one of the only states which pays a Cost-of-living adjustment twice a year.

JCREA PURPOSE
1. To provide opportunities for support and fellowship with friends and fellow retired educators
2. To provide an organized framework through which retired educators may continue a life of service to fellow retirees, active colleagues, students and their communities.
3. To provide a means of responding to community needs by encouraging retired educators to contribute their talents, experiences and expertise to the decision making processes in their communities.
4. To provide a means to familiarize retired as well as active educators of the benefits of membership in the local REA’s unit and the Georgia REA.
